Do I need a referral? No, BUT I do believe it is important that you have a health care provider managing your overall health care. Many conditions (especially those involving the pelvis) can be medical in nature and require more serious conditions to be ruled out before coming to the clinic. It is also helpful to have a medical provider with whom I can coordinate care and discuss your health as a team.

Can I use my insurance? We are a fee for service practice, which means we do not bill your insurance. Payment is due at the time of service. You will know the cost up front instead of dealing with co-pays or waiting to see how much your insurance company covers. Upon request, I can provide you with a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance for any available out-of-network benefits.

Can I use my HSA/FSA? You may use your HSA/FSA for Physical Therapy Services, however I cannot guarantee that it will cover nutritional coaching, injury prevention, or Return to Play programming.

How many visits will I need? This varies depending on multiple factors and will be discussed after completing your initial evaluation, but usually I would expect some sort of improvement regarding pain and/or functional mobility within 3 visits.

What should I wear to my appointment(s)?

Comfortable, loose fitting clothing works best. If you are being seen for your hip/low back, it would be best to wear (or bring) a pair of loose fitting shorts (athletic shorts with an underwear liner work well for females). If you will be seen for your mid/upper back, neck, or shoulder, I would suggest that females wear a tank top (spaghetti strap is preferred over racer back).
